Today was the day I finally achieved a big goal of mine on Pocket Camp… I officially invited my 100th villager to my camp! It’s taken just over a year of playing the game (with a hiatus that lasted a few months in the middle) and a lot of work to get to this point, especially as new animals are added every so often.
I’d saved one of my all time favourite dreamies to be the 100th camper, so right after I’d finished crafting the aquarius urn which was the last piece of his furniture I needed, I invited Julian to stay at my campsite!
I’m so glad that I stuck it out with this game and kept going, because today I really felt proud of how far my little campsite has come! Pocket Camp is now one of my favourite games, I find it so fun even though at first I hated it. I’m happy that I came back from my hiatus to give it another try.
Animal Crossing, particularly New Leaf and Pocket Camp, have had such a positive impact on my mental health by playing them every day. I can really say that this series has made me a much happier person, and that’s why achieving this goal means so much to me. I know to other people it must seem silly to be so happy about a minor event in a video game, but to me it means the world.
I hope you enjoy reading about my Pocket Camp adventures, and I promise there’ll be a lot more to come!
